Better than a servant

السلام عليكم
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Rasul (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said to Ali & Fatima (peace be upon them):
"Shall I not guide the two of you to what has more goodness in it, for you, than a servant?
When you resort to your bed, make
tasbih (سبحان الله) Subhanallah 33 times,
tahmed (الحمد لله) alhamdulilah 33 times,
takbeer (الله أكبر) allahu akbar 34 times."
[Bukhari]

Ayatul Kursi

السلام عليكم
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

When you go to bed, recite Ayatul Kursi (Baqara:255) for there is still a guardian upon you from Allah and no Satan can get close to you until morning.
[Bukhari]

There are different wordings for this specific hadith but the main point is read Ayatul Kursi for protection.

السلام عليكم
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
There are four Surah that if you read every night between Maghrib and the time you go to sleep you will receive a great reward, and amongst other things be pardoned by Allah; receive a reward equal to reading the entire Quran ten times; die as a shaheed (martyr); be protected from starvation and poverty; receive a reward equal to staying awake and making Ibaadah during Laylatul-Qadr; and be protected from the Azaab of the Qabr (punishment of the grave) and the hereafter. Subhanallah!
1: Surah Ya'seen
2: Suratus-Sajdah
3: Suratul-Waaqiah
4: Suratul-Mulk

Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: "The person who reads Yaseen every night, (he) will be pardoned." (Baihaqi)

Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: "All things have a heart, the heart of the Quraan is Ya-Seen. The person who reads Yaseen, (once) Allah will record for its reader a thawaab (reward) equal to reading the Quraan ten times. (Tirmizi, Daarimi)

I will Inshallah post up a few hadiths for the other surahs soon.
