Sanctity of Muslims 2

"A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim. So he should not oppress him nor should he hand him over to (his satan or to his self which is inclined to evil). Whoever fulfills the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever removes the troubles of his brother, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection; and whoever covers up the fault of a Muslim, Allah will cover up his fault on the Day of Resurrection."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

More precious than diamonds

"O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. "
[Al Ahzab 33:59]
Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground, covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean, covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down and in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock. You’ve got to work hard to get them. What about women? Aren't women far more precious than diamonds and pearls?
- A beautiful saying about the importance of Hijab

When you resort to your bed, make
tasbih (سبحان الله) Subhanallah 33 times,
tahmed (الحمد لله) alhamdulilah 33 times,
takbeer (الله أكبر) allahu akbar 34 times."

Allah the Exalted has said:
'O son of Adam, I forgive you as long as you pray to Me and hope for My forgiveness, whatever sins you have committed. O son of Adam, I do not care if your sins reach the height of the heaven, then you ask for my forgiveness, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, if you come to Me with an earth load of sins, and meet Me associating nothing to Me, I would match it with an earth load of forgiveness.'

Keep good company

The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
"The similitude of good company and that of bad company is that of the owner of musk and of the one blowing the bellows. The owner of musk would either offer you some free of charge, or you would buy it from him, or you would smell its pleasant fragrance; and as for the one who blows the bellows (i.e., the blacksmith), he either burns your clothes or you smell a repugnant smell."
[Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

Praising Someone

"If anyone of you is impelled to praise his brother, then he should say: "I deem so and so to be ------- and Allah is his reckoner--- and I don't praise anyone, putting it forward, in front of Allah's commendation, however I assume him so and so---- if he knows that of him.
(Muslim)

Another Hadith:
A man was mentioned in the presence of Rasul (صلى الله عليه وسلم), thereupon a man praised him well. Rasul (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: Woe to you, you have cut the neck of your friend. Whoever among you is, unavoidably, going to praise his brother then let him say:
'Ahsabu (the person), wa-allahu haseebuhu, wa lã 'uzakkee `alã 'allãhi 'ahadan, 'ahsabuhu (as such and as such), if he knows that of him.'

One good deed vs One bad deed

Abdullah bin 'Abaas (peace be upon him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said that Allah, the Glorious said,
"Verily, Allah Ta'ala has ordered that the good and the bad deeds be written down. Then he explained it clearly how (to write): He who intends to do a good deed but he does not do it, then Allah records it for him as a full good deed, but if he carries out his intention, then Allah the exalted, writes it down for him as from ten to seven hundred folds, and even more. But if he intends to do an evil act and has not done it, then Allah writes it down with him as a full good deed, but if he intends it and has done it, Allah writes it down as one bad deed."

"It is mentioned, that there is a pillar in front of the Arsh of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, which begins vibrating heavily when a person recites,
'LA ILAHA ILLALAH'
Allah سبحانه وتعالى commands: 'Stop! Be at ease!'
The pillar replies: 'How can I be at ease when the reciter of لا اله الا الله has not been forgiven?'
Then Allah سبحانه وتعالى says to it: 'Stop! I have forgiven the reciter of

Subhallah! Allah سبحانه وتعالى is so merciful to us! I have heard this hadith before in Taleem and I am sure it is Sahih but unfortunately in the book I'm reading it does not say who narrated it. It is late so I wont look now but Inshallah I will check my other kitabs and will post up who the narrator was.
